Cristiano Ronaldo Plays Last World Cup Game

Ronaldo was very sad at the end of the game.

Cristiano Ronaldo said Portugal's World Cup exit is not so bad because he likes the Euros just as much. Portugal lost to Spain 1-0.

Ronaldo cried after the game and said it was his last World Cup. He wanted to think about Portugal's Euro win.

Ronaldo said, 'This was my last World Cup. I want to spend time with my family and not make decisions when I'm upset. Life goes on.'

He added, 'I won three titles for Portugal. Before me, Portugal didn't win anything. I won Euro 2016, which is like a World Cup to me.'

Portugal is looking for a new manager after losing to Spain.

Ronaldo said he loved working with Roberto Martinez, who was a great coach and person.

Ronaldo was not the only Portugal player to talk after the loss. Bruno Fernandes also shared his thoughts.

Bruno Fernandes said, 'We didn't do well. We should have gone further. It's a sad moment. We wanted to win the World Cup.'

He said, 'We were good in the first half, but then we gave up too much space and Spain had the ball more. We lost to a strong team.'

Spain will play in the quarter-finals for the first time since 2010. They will play the USA or Belgium.

Ronaldo will now focus on his club team, Al-Nassr. They hired a new coach, Ange Postecoglou.
