Malaysia's Melaka to Promote Durian Tourism

Low Chee Leong said a new durian market in Kota Laksamana will help farmers and traders sell durians to tourists.

This will help Melaka's tourism and local farmers who have too many durians and low prices.

Durian season in Malaysia starts in June or July and ends in September.

Malaysia opened the first durian experience center in Asia in Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia now offers durian tours where visitors can go to farms and do fun activities like camping and hiking.
