Why Changi Airport Leads the World

Singapore’s Changi Airport is competing for the title of the world’s leading airport. It is worth reading because the competition shows how airports try to be the best for travelers.

Changi is famous for having the world’s tallest indoor waterfall and many cutting‑edge amenities. International media have honored it many times as the world’s best airport.

The World Travel Awards, called the “Oscars of the travel industry,” choose the leading airport by votes from travel professionals and the public. Public voting is open until Nov. 9 and the ceremony will be on Dec. 12. Other nominees include Dubai International, Hong Kong and several other global airports.

Because of its unique waterfall, modern facilities and many awards, Changi has a strong advantage over other top airports. Readers should remember that these features help Changi stand out in the global competition.
