Vietnam’s team did very well at the 2026 Al‑Fergani International Physics Olympiad. Their success shows how hard work and support can lead to great results.
The competition was held from October 10 to 17, 2026 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. It brought together 107 contestants from 15 countries. Vietnam ranked fourth overall, and all four Vietnamese students won medals – one gold, two silver and one bronze.
Le Ba Tuan Viet, a student of the High School for Gifted Students in Science, University of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, won the gold medal. The two silver medals were earned by Truong Ba Chi Thanh and Tang Hao Nhien, and Le Hong Nhan earned the bronze.
The Ministry of Education and Training said the results came from the students’ determination, the dedication of teachers, and support from families and schools. This teaches us that hard work, good guidance, and family help can lead to success in study and competition.
