Tình yêu, sự đồng lòng và sức khỏe: Hành trình tái thiết cuộc sống của hai bệnh nhân chạy thận

The story of Nhan and Dat shows how love and teamwork can help people with chronic kidney disease regain health and earn a living. Their experience is a powerful example of partnership turning hardship into hope.
In 2019, after infertility tests, Nhan was diagnosed with stage 3B chronic kidney disease. By 2022 she needed hemodialysis, had dropped to 35 kg and could barely walk.
While receiving dialysis, Nhan joined a social media group for patients and met Nguyen Binh Dat, another dialysis patient from the same hometown. Their conversations led to a relationship that later became marriage.
The couple now runs small food‑selling stalls, preparing sticky rice in the morning, thin rice pancakes, ice‑cream, cakes and other snacks according to their energy levels. These jobs are chosen because they fit the limits of their health.
With Dat’s constant encouragement, Nhan’s weight rose to 50‑51 kg and she reports feeling more emotionally stable. They continue to attend dialysis together, sharing the burden of treatment costs, showing how partnership can turn chronic illness into a source of strength.
