The haze in Singapore caused sudden changes for airline passengers. Reading this will show how the weather can affect travel plans and what you can do.

Firefly said it cancelled flights to Singapore’s Seletar Airport from 10 Oct to 12 Oct because of haze. The airline called the move a proactive safety measure.

Passengers can take Malaysia Airlines flights between Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Singapore’s Changi Airport, if seats are free. If they do not want the new flight, they may get a full refund to the original payment method within 30 working days.

Singapore’s 24‑hour Pollutant Standards Index hit 192 on 9 Oct, close to the “very unhealthy” level. The haze task force said it will give N95 masks to eligible residents when the PSI reaches 201‑300.

If a flight is cancelled because of haze, you have options: another airline’s seat or a full refund. Knowing these rights helps you handle travel changes more easily.
