Vietnam’s airlines are adding many new international flights. These routes are helping the country welcome more tourists and reach its economic goals.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways will launch its first international route between Phu Quoc and Moscow on Nov. 13, targeting Russia as a fast‑growing tourism market. Vietjet Air will add three new services: Ho Chi Minh City–Male starting Dec. 5, and Hanoi–Prague and Hanoi–Almaty this month.
Vietravel Airlines will start a Hanoi–Shenzhen route on Nov. 26. In the first nine months of 2026, Vietnam received 17.7 million international visitors, a 14.5% increase from the previous year.
Industry insiders urge the government to extend visa exemptions and improve air links with global tourism hubs. They say this will help Vietnam reach its goal of 25 million international visitors this year.
