Love Across 6,000 km: A Lesson in Commitment
Tình yêu vượt 6.000 km: Bài học về sự cam kết

A story of love that crossed a continent and an age gap shows how commitment can turn a virtual meeting into a real marriage. It is worth reading because it gives clear examples of communication and cultural openness.
In December 2025, Upendra Nath, a 63‑year‑old Australian IT professional, met 42‑year‑old Vietnamese single mother Thuy Trang on a dating app. They spent two months sending texts and making phone calls every day.
After two months online, Upendra Nath traveled more than 6,000 km to Vietnam. He met Thuy Trang in person and proposed the next day at a resort. In April 2026 they married, and Upendra wore a traditional Vietnamese ao dai.
The couple says they keep their love strong by talking every day, by promising to stay together, and by receiving help from both families. Upendra plans to visit his wife every three months and to move permanently to Vietnam after his 2027 retirement.
