Ho Chi Minh City will celebrate Vietnam Culture Day on November 24 with a series of cultural events, including a spectacular 3D projection‑mapping show and fireworks. The celebration is designed to highlight the city’s cultural ambitions and its importance to the nation.
The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee announced a major programme of activities for Vietnam Culture Day 2026. The events will run from November 15 to 25 and are coordinated by the Department of Culture and Sports together with other municipal agencies.
The programme aims to honor and preserve traditional cultural values, both tangible and intangible. It also promotes Vietnamese national and family values and the qualities linked to Vietnamese identity.
The celebrations will showcase Ho Chi Minh City’s role as one of Vietnam’s leading centres of economic activity, culture, science and international exchange. By presenting art exhibitions, performances and the final fireworks display, the city underscores its dynamic cultural and economic position.
Through the fireworks and 3D projection‑mapping show, the city seeks to strengthen Vietnamese identity and demonstrate its significance as a cultural and economic hub. The event therefore serves both heritage preservation and city branding goals.
