Learn from Duc’s Winning Study Habits

Bí quyết học tập giúp Lộc Anh Đức giành điểm tuyệt đối

Source: Vietnamnet

Loc Anh Duc, a Tay student, got a perfect 20 out of 20 in Hanoi’s 2026 Informatics competition and was the top scorer. He won the first prize for two years in a row. His story shows how good study habits can lead to big success.

Duc grew up in the former Ha Giang Province, now part of Tuyen Quang, a disadvantaged area with few teachers for informatics. He moved to Hanoi after secondary school to find better learning chances, as his parents encouraged.

After receiving only an honorable mention in a 10th‑grade competition, Duc said he quit social media and spent the whole summer preparing intensively. He changed his method: he focused on key ideas, practiced many problem types, and tried several ways to solve each problem. He used friends’ computers, borrowed an old laptop with a striped screen, and studied 12‑13 hours each day.

Duc says the most important habit is to keep trying, check his own mistakes, and stay confident even when he fails. He tells other students not to be upset by failure, because perseverance can bring success.
