How to Choose the Best‑Value Smartphone Amid Vietnam’s Big Discount Wave
Chọn smartphone giá tốt giữa cơn bão giảm giá tại Việt Nam

October 2026 has brought a wave of steep price cuts to Vietnam’s smartphone market, with some flagship models dropping as much as 40 percent. Knowing how to read these discounts can help you avoid overpaying and find a phone that truly fits your needs.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, equipped with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, is now listed at VND17 million – a 40 % reduction from its original price. Its foldable 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor give it premium performance at a lower cost.
Other popular models also saw sizable cuts: the Xiaomi 15 5G is 30 % off at VND18.5 million, the Galaxy S25 Edge 5G is 38 % off at VND18 million, the HONOR 600 5G is 19 % off at VND14.5 million, and the iPhone 16e is 5 % off at VND13.7 million. Each device offers a different mix of storage, RAM, and camera features.
However, a larger discount does not automatically make a phone a bargain. Buyers should compare the original price, specifications, warranty coverage, and expected usefulness over the next several years before deciding.
In the VND10‑20 million segment, the smartest purchase is the phone whose price and features best match the buyer’s actual needs, not necessarily the one with the biggest discount. Consider both cost and capability before you buy.
