Nguyen Ngoc Tra My, a bilingual master of ceremonies and media company executive, won Miss Charm Vietnam 2026. She beat 21 other contestants and will represent Vietnam in the international pageant.
Tra My answered the final question in both Vietnamese and English. She also sang a few lines of the traditional Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk song “Beo dat may troi” to promote the culture.
She said that music and cultural sharing can attract international tourists to Vietnam. Tra My believes that showing Vietnamese songs helps the world learn about Vietnam’s culture and language.
Born in 1996, Tra My studied communications at RMIT University in Australia. She now works in brand management, runs a media company, and is studying Business Administration and Leadership at Edgewood University in the United States.
Miss Charm Vietnam says its mission is to promote education, cultural exchange, tourism, and celebrate beauty linked to Vietnamese cultural identity. Tra My’s bilingual win shows how language skills can help share Vietnam’s culture worldwide.
