Bao Fast Foods, a London‑based chain, will open a two‑month pop‑up stall in Singapore. The stall runs from 11 November to 28 December at New Bahru mall, and the owners plan a permanent site in early 2027.
The stall is a partnership with Singapore’s The Lo & Behold Group. It will serve bao, fried chicken and other Taiwanese‑inspired dishes in a convenience‑store style setting.
Founders Shing Tat Chung and Erchen Chang started the business more than a decade ago as a stall at London’s Netil Market. Chung said they want to spread Taiwanese culture because global fast‑food players have no Taiwanese representation.
The Singapore stall is the founders’ first venture in Asia. They see Singapore’s international culture as a testbed to understand where the brand can go after this launch.
