The Autumn Economic Forum 2026 opened in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, launching four days of discussions about technology, innovation and new growth drivers. The event is themed “Collaboration in a New Era,” which makes it especially relevant for anyone interested in future economic trends.
A highlight this year is that the forum’s two main days, October 27 and 28, will be co‑branded with the World Economic Forum for the first time. This partnership signals a stronger global profile and draws additional attention to the discussions on megacities, breakthrough technologies and private‑sector roles.
The CEO500 program is another centerpiece, designed to bring together foreign direct investment, technology and global finance. Organisers say the program will connect business leaders, expand cooperation opportunities and help identify new drivers of economic growth.
More than 1,500 delegates – senior officials, international organization representatives, experts and business leaders – are expected. Exhibition booths will showcase digital, green and sustainable technologies, as well as Vietnamese coffee and tea.
Overall, the 2026 Autumn Economic Forum stands out because it combines a first‑time World Economic Forum co‑branding, the CEO500 networking platform, and a strong showcase of technology and Vietnamese products. Participants can expect valuable connections that may shape future career opportunities.
