Vietnam’s U17 team finished a training camp in South Korea with a 4‑2 win over Shinpyeong on October 28. The victory is their second win in the camp and shows they are preparing well for the 2026 World Cup.

The camp ended with two wins and one defeat for Vietnam’s U17 side. Shinpyeong, a top South Korean high‑school team, played instead of the South Korea U17 team because the hosts could not field a full squad.

Coach Cristiano Roland’s team will return to Vietnam on October 29 and travel to the United Arab Emirates on November 6 for more friendly matches. Vietnam has been drawn in Group G with Belgium, New Zealand and Mali for the World Cup in Qatar.

These warm‑up wins give the young players confidence and a chance to test tactics before the tournament. The results suggest Vietnam’s U17 team could be ready to compete in the 2026 World Cup.
