Da Nang is preparing a big art festival that mixes old history with new creativity. The story shows why linking heritage sites with contemporary art matters for the city’s identity.
DACC 2026 will hold more than 20 artistic activities over 10 days. It runs from October 30 to November 8 and is called “History of Tomorrow”. The events are at the Da Nang Museum on Bach Dang Street and the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture on September 2 Street.
The organizers work with cultural institutions and creative communities from Vietnam and Southeast Asia. They bring together artists, curators, artisans, experts and guests. The goal is to connect history and cultural heritage with contemporary art, giving fresh views of the city’s past and future.
Organizers plan to make DACC an annual event. They hope it will strengthen the creative ecosystem and promote Da Nang’s cultural identity.
