Simple Daily Habits Keep a 100‑Year‑Old Active

Thói quen đơn giản giúp cụ ông 100 tuổi luôn khỏe mạnh

Source: Vietnamnet

Vuong Nghien is a 100‑year‑old man who lives in Da Nang. He continues to cycle, exercise and prepare his own meals each day, showing that simple habits can help people stay healthy and independent.

He wakes up at 5 a.m., does gentle movements, then rides his bicycle around the neighbourhood. He eats modest portions, about one bowl of rice at each main meal.

He says his good health comes from regular physical activity, moderate eating and a cheerful outlook. Even with nine children, he prefers to do daily tasks himself rather than rely on them.

Da Nang has about 500 residents who are 100 years old or older, and his ward, Hoa Xuan, has 23 centenarians. His story shows that everyday habits can support health and independence even in old age.
