Putting Health Before Long Hours
Sức khỏe quan trọng hơn giờ làm việc dài

A popular noodle stall in Singapore closed on Oct. 31 after 32 years of service. The story shows why caring for health can be more important than working long hours.
The stall was run by Wu Fushun, 64, and Lin Rongduan, 61. For 32 years they worked more than 10 hours a day, six days a week.
The demanding schedule slowly hurt Wu’s health, so the owners said they would shut the stall to prioritize their well‑being. Wu also said business rose by 50 % in the last week as regulars came to say goodbye.
Their decision reminds us that long working hours can damage health. It is better to balance work and well‑being, even if it means ending a long‑running business.
