Japanese company Yamaha showed two brand‑new electric scooters at the EICMA 2026 show in Milan. Both scooters, the NMAX E and the XENTER E, are built by Yamaha Motor Vietnam.
The NMAX E can travel about 104 kilometers on one charge. It uses a 3.5 kWh battery. It also has a 5‑inch screen, three riding modes and a reverse gear.
The XENTER E can travel about 108 kilometers on one charge. It has large 16‑inch wheels. It uses the same eAxle drive system and 3.5 kWh battery as the NMAX E and has similar equipment.
Yamaha says the scooters are part of its plan to grow electric vehicles for daily city travel. Because they are made in Vietnam, they may also be sold there, giving Vietnamese commuters new high‑tech options.
