The Lam Dong Province's Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism announced that Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform in Da Lat, Vietnam for the first time. The concert is part of the Vietnam Jazz Heritage Festival 2026, which runs from November 6 to 8.
The department said the performance will take place on the evening of November 7 inside the Haus project in Da Lat. It will be a private, invitation‑only event with only 300 guests invited, and Bocelli will not appear at the two public concerts on November 6 and November 8.
Residents and fans have shown strong interest, with many people in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi saying they would pay large sums for tickets. Nguyen Thanh Tam, a resident of Can Tho City, said, "It is a pity that the event is by invitation only" and asked for public ticket sales.
Many Vietnamese music fans think the concert should be open to more people, not just a small invited group. They hope future events will be more accessible to all music lovers.
